How do you remove scratches and blemishes in paint from Tundra hood?

01 Tundra, wax and rubbing compound didnt work, seems paint is damaged, the rest of my truck is fine,How do you remove scratches and blemishes in paint from Tundra hood?
It sounds like you might need your hood buffed. If you havent used a belectric buffer before i wouldnt recommend it as it requires an experienced touch. You can easily do more harm with one of these than any good. But a detail shop or auto body shop should be able to help you.
