  • Can you get rid of pimples, blemishes, and acme in less than 3 days ?

If so please list some products or possible home remedies. My graduation is 3 days away and I need an answer now.Can you get rid of pimples, blemishes, and acme in less than 3 days ?
i was a recent sufferer from acne but know i'm not.

don't touch your face..ever because it only makes your skin worse. if you have oily skin make sure to take a napkin or paper towel or somethin like that and soak up all the access oils on your face. if you face is dry put a mosturizer on it because your face will break out more if it is dry. i went to the dermatologist and got medications. i wash my face with a facial wipe in the morning and night then i apply the medications. i also use a avocado and oatmeal face mask every day. this will solve your acne problems over a periold of time but since you only have 3 days i suggest buying clearasil products such as the vanishing cream and the daily facial pads. clearasil products garenteed clear skin in 3 days.. good luck!!Can you get rid of pimples, blemishes, and acme in less than 3 days ?
The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That's because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin's Sebum (oil) production. This results in...you guessed it - more acne.

So what's the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won't shock your body into more breakouts. Here's what I recommend:

    - Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.

    - For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.

    - Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.

    - Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.

    - Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.

    - If acne medication isn't working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.

    - One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an ';oatmeal mask';. The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.

    Best of Luck!
I don't know about getting rid of acne in 3days if it is a problem you've dealt with it for awhile, but if it's just appeared you can get rid of it. Also, you can diminish the redness and clear it up a lot more by just doing slight steps.

    Here's what I suggest:

Wash your face with a acne face wash (whatever kind you prefer).

Use an astringent (I use sea -breeze) - DO NOT OVER USE as it will dry out your skin.

Then wash your face with an exfoliator (You might want to try olay's warming hydrating cleanser).

THEN moisturize your skin with an OIL-FREE moisturizer.

You might want to do this once to maybe twice a day, depending on how sensitive your skin is. I hope this helps! Have fun graduating! If this doesn't help you could always use some slight foundations to cover up the blemishes and it wont look like you're wearing makeup....as long as you apply it right. Email me if you have questions.
Hey a great way to ge rid of all these is to try a site out called free-beauty-tips. Search on google ';beauty tips'; and the first link there go on it. Okay i know its girly but go on some stuff like home made remedies, skin care etc ...

    They should work.

    Hope i could help =]

Btw i would have just given you the link but yahoo wont let me post it. Sorry.
Yes you can. Natural rememdies, and spot removals at your local drug store.

Just yesterday i had this hugggee pimple, and i had to go out. So i removed the white head.. and i put aftershave...or rubbing alchohol, and then dabbed lemon juice (fresh) with salt. It went down alot. Today i can barely see it, but it left a scab.. so i suggest you dont remove the whitehead if you dont want a scab.
try clean and clear acne spot treatment

I would recommend PCA (Physicians Choice of Arizona). They have a wonderful line, although not entirely cheap. I would also say you may want to think of going to an esthetician before hand, get a review of your skin, and perhaps even a facial. When you go in you can request samples of those items you liked. PCA's website lists all their retailers which most are spas, and the like. Good luck!

You'll need IPL (intensed pulsed light) to get rid of the thread veins.

Quite expensive but it will get rid of them for good. No cream will fade them.

I have a loads on my cheeks =/

Do not go to a beauty salon. You don't want scarring. You need a professional.. A dermatologist.

Are you in England? I'm getting mine done at my local Nuffield hospital. Most private hospitals will have someone..

If they're on your legs rather than your face, then there is something called sclerotherapy. Google it.
do you mean spider veins that comes on your leg etc. idk how to get rid of that but you can use that neutragena (wrong spelling) vibrating thing to prevent and get rid. it works for me all you do is put on the pad that comes with it and turn it on and move around your face in circular motion

What products are good to help fade red marks left behind from blemishes?

I am asian and whenever I get a pimple, my skin gets darker and discolored after the pimple is gone. What is a good product that can help fade these marks without bleaching the skin and leaving it too light? What products are good to help fade red marks left behind from blemishes?
Look up bee-luscious cosmetics on www.beeroyalproducts.com they ahve anawesome line of products and they contain royal jelly which is a natural healing and skin agentWhat products are good to help fade red marks left behind from blemishes?
Yes, it's true that women with darker skin are more prone to acne scarring. Pigmented acne scars (the mark after the pimple goes away) result from the collection of pigment cells while the blemish is healing. Darker-skinned women already have a great deal of pigment in their skin, so this additional collection of pigment leads to scarring.

You can try an over-the-counter cream like Porcelana, but note that it could take up to two months to see a difference. For more serious scarring, chemical peels may be helpful. Your best bet is to make an appointment with your doctor who can recommend the treatment that is right for you - whether it is something over-the-counter or prescription-strength.

In the meantime, check out http://beauty.ivillage.com/skinbody/acne鈥?/a> for more detailed information on what causes acne scarring and how to treat it.
well i suggest clear and clean its realy high in vitimains and is hydrating for the skin!
Alphahydroxy acids, like glycolic acid. They're also used to fade wrinkles. There's also topical Retin-A.
There is a product called ';medrol';, that is prescribed by a doctor, it will eliminate everything from the pimple, to the lasting mark, of a pimple, within a 24 hour period, guaranteed. Use sparingly, it's extremely drying! I have white skin, i'm not sure what the effects would be on darker skin.

Modern ';plate glass'; began to be used in residential construction in the 1940's and all but replaced the old ';float glass'; by the early 1960's.

There is still a lot of old float glsss out there. It is worth recycling because many restoration specialists seek it out for projects in historic houses or period restorations. In fact, some neighborhood historical districts prohibit the use of plate glass and mandate the use of float glass in order to preserve the look of the neighborhood.

What should I use to remove the scars, black spots and blemishes due to pimples?

My skin is oily and i had pimples on my face... but eventually they all went away leaving scars and blemishes behind. I cant tolerate them on my face any more. Please suggest me some remedies to get rid of them...What should I use to remove the scars, black spots and blemishes due to pimples?
There's two things that I'd suggest.

The first is bio oil. Being a teenager i find it useful for many things, especially getting rid of a 1cm scar on my knee, eeew! Bio oil may seem pricey but for the amount you use on each use it could well last you for more than a year. I've had my bottle for two years now, although I don't use it that often but every once in a while and it's still nearly full.

The second product I could recommend is Dalacin T Topical Lotion. I believe the only way to purchase this is with a prescription and when I got it it was actually to get rid of my acne. I had got used to the scars and didn't think anything about the lotion getting rid of them, although it did. The scars from past pimples were fading after one day of using this. I have been using it for only one week now and already they've al gone!

Also this really does of course work to get rif if zits!

Hope I've helped and Good Luck! =-DWhat should I use to remove the scars, black spots and blemishes due to pimples?
Thanks. I have seen bio-oil in sainsburys, boots and superdrug in the UK or you could buy online. I'm sure you'll find it as it's becoming more common and there's an ad on TV. The packaging is white with orange writing in a rectangular box. Bio-oil comes in three sizes (I have the smallest) =-D Report Abuse

    1. Remember When your scab first falls off, make sure you keep it out of the sun for a few days. That doesn't mean you have to stay inside, but wear a hat for the first few days just so that the scar doesn't become permanent.

    2. Rub aleo vera gel on you scar until it goes away. This will help the skin resurface and grow back healthy. You can buy this at CVS if you wanted to. It's not very expensive. Alternatively, you can try Burts Bees coconut foot creme.

    3. Be sure that you clean your skin. Don't be scared to hurt your skin if you wash it. It's actually very good for your scar to wash it, even if your using products. But use products that aren't sensitive to the skin because it can make your scar red and dry.

I know it sounds daft, but dont wash your skin for a few days

i dont know why but ive been using all the products under the sun,

i have been drinking around 6/7 glasses of water a day.

How can I clear my blemishes by tomorrow night without going out and buying a bunch of different stuff?

I don't have any money to buy anything, so what things can I do with what I have? How can I clear my blemishes by tomorrow night without going out and buying a bunch of different stuff?
If you have concealer use that on your blemishes allow it to dry before applying foundation. Use some pressed powder over your foundation Instead of perfume try some astringent or a little alcohol on them tonite to dry them up. If you don't have alcohol dab a little toothpaste on them but don't sleep in it.How can I clear my blemishes by tomorrow night without going out and buying a bunch of different stuff?
    liquid foundation
the best answer here is the toothpaste. sleep with it overnight on your breakouts. be sure not to apply anything to open or popped sores. this will just cause infection or irritation, which will not help your problem.

DO NOT apply perfume or rubbing alcohol or soap to your face. be sure to use a facial cleanser without fragrance or oil. it is also important to use an oil free fragrance free moisturizer to prevent the skin from continuing its overproduction of oil, which results from overdrying the skin
Do you have any Honey? Honey does REALLY well with my face. just dab it on, and leave it on for a couple of hours tonight. if you have the supplies, you could even dab it on, then put a bandaid over them and sleep with the honey on your face. There is something in honey that helps a LOT.

You could also steam your face for about a half hour, this will help bring down the bumps. The easiest, most effective way I do it is get a pot full of water and put it on the stove on high. Then just stand over the pot with your face hovering over the steam... It feels really nice as well.

Something else to do if your blemishes are really large and deep in your pores: get some epsem salt, and hot water, dip a washcloth in the hot water and hold over your blemish for a half hour or more. This will help the blemish to die down, and not be so large.

Just remember, whatever you do, try not to dry-out your skin. Your skin will then try to over-confiscate for the dryness, and you may get even MORE acne! So after your done with all of your treatments, don't forget to moisturize!!

The day of, you would do well to use a nice liquid foundation to cover up any that are just too much for your treatments.

    I hope everything goes smoothly!

Good Luck, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I've heard that toothpaste will dry a zit up. I tried it once or twice and it diminished the size by quite a bit.
Steam cleanse your pores with really hot water, i.e. boil water or microwave some in a bowl and BE CAREFUL, place a towel over the bowl and let the steam clean your pores for about 5-10 min. Be in a comfortable position. Then Sleep with toothpaste on your blemishes. That always helps me. Ice water also helps I hear. Haven't tried that though. Good Luck
i have also tried using a little toothpaste on the zit, it actually works. just dont put too much or it will leave a dark mark on your skin.

if all else fails, you can always use cover-up (concealer) or liquid make-up.

    both works fine.
Whatever you put on your face be sure to directly apply it to the pimple itself because you don't want to dry out the skin around it and make your face become dry and peely.
Scrub your face very very good using hot water to open your pores...dab it dry and apply straight rubbing alcohol to your face. It will sting but it works. In the morning make sure to wash your face of again with soap that will smoothen you skin.
    toothpaste on em

Toothpaste. Rub some hydrogen peroxide on the blemishes, let it sit for a mintue or til dry. then rubbing alchol and they should be less noticable in a few hours.
Supposedly, toothpaste works if you believe all of those ';beauty'; talk shows.

In the future, I would recommend a daily regimen of washing your face with Noxzema. I have not had a zit since 1984, since using it...

Good luck, and try to have sex more, that has statistically been proven to reduce acne as well...
    NUTHING

sorry but that is not possible unless u got some magic cream
I would rub lots of perfume on them to dry them up. concealer doesnt hurt either
OK....I had that same problem (i need my blemishes to be gone by tonight, thought) and Zameeza (i might have mispelled) gave me good advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥? IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥? Go to my questions....I only have 1 so it should be easy to find. =]
[1] wash your face with any ANTI BACTERIAL soap that you have. Wash with warm to hot water, then rinse with cool water.

The hot water will open your pores, thus allowing them to be thoroughly cleansed, adn the cool water will close them again, making the pores on your face look miniscule.

[2] Make a paste by mixing baking soda and rubbing alcohol. Dab this paste on your blemishes and let it sit til it dries, then RINSE it off [do not use soap] Don't do this more than six or seven times to prevent drying out your skin too much.

[3] Make sure you moisturize your skin before you sleep. A moistirizing lotion will work for this, just use a very thin coat over your face.

IF you find the rubbing alcohol paste is too drying for your skin type, try using toothepaste every other time.

    GOOD LUCK!

There are a lot of skin care products out there that will say that they will do this and that for your skin, but few really address it's unique, specific needs. I found this awesome line of skin care products that is actually based on your DNA, so it's extremely personalized and works well with the specific needs of your skin.

It's from a company called GeneWize, a wholly owned direct-selling subsidiary of a publically traded genetic biosciences company (GeneLink, Inc.) that uses DNA-based genetic tests as the basis for personalizing health, beauty, wellness products. You can find it here: http://www.dnagenewizescience.com/.

The LifeMap Nutrition鈩?System is the first customized nutritional and optimal health system where nutritional supplement ingredients and products are genetically matched to an individual's DNA.

The look almost like a pimple with no white head and he bites them and they seem to really irritate them. Please let me know if you have any idea what they could be.My dog gets these red blemishes and they drive him crazy. Does anyone know what they could be?
Ask your vet, but they sound like hives. Your dog is probably allergic to something. My dog gets these red blemishes and they drive him crazy. Does anyone know what they could be?
    Ask your vet. :]
Ah? Flee bites??? My dog just has to have one flea bite and he gets these huge bites all over them. then his skin goes all yuck and scaly. I have to bath him in some special antibiotic and antihistamine soap. He's highly allergic to them and takes weeks to recover from just one of the little buggers. I have to be careful when he meets other dogs just incase.
very well could be an allergy. Could be to the food (many dogs are allergic to wheat, many can't tolerate corn, which is nothing but a filler, etc.). Could be to a household product (maybe a carpet deodorizer or laundry detergent), could even be an outdoor allergy (pollen, lawn fertilizer, etc.).

Contact your vet. Only they can make a diagnosis.
Do you flea treat the dog regularly - with veterinary flea treatment? They do sound like flea bites, but just go to your vet.

How can you remove blemishes from your face without having touse loads of face cleansers?

try using rough surfaces not sharp object, but maaaybe, something like sand. add a little to your daily face cleanser, be sure to avoid contact with the eyes. make sure to wash it all off. and dab dry. DO NOT RUB DRY.

this is what ive heard. is it true? How can you remove blemishes from your face without having touse loads of face cleansers?
I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.

DO NOT SCRUB HARSHLY!!!!! All you're doing is causing damage to your skin and spreading the bacteria from underneath the surface of your skin from one blemish to the other. Below I will mention a blog VISIT it and read it. It will help you greatly.

As a nurse I really care about people and I hate to read or see the mistakes that young people cause themselves

I am taking the time out to write to you so that you dont cause yourself any further harm!

Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!

Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?

However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.

However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.

If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role in your breakouts.

If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.

The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?

Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.

Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.

They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):

    Night time:

    1. Exfoliate the skin

    2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

    4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

    5. Moisturizer

    Morning:

    1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

    Good Luck to you,

MichelleHow can you remove blemishes from your face without having touse loads of face cleansers?
i use dove soap to wash my face, one once or twice daily. and then i use bio oil on my face (at night as it makes it shiny) and i wake up every morning with pefect skin. no spots, no blemishes, no blackheads. Its so simple, and cheap. Bio oil slightly expensive, but not compared to other products and if your just using it on your face it'll last a long time.
I would just go the safer route and buy a face scrub already made to exfoliate with proper ingredients to fight blemishes. St. Ives has a great skin care line, with great prices. Just a daily scrub and astringent should be all you need.

Can anyone recommend a good product to get rid of blemishes?

I have combination skin. Most of my face is clear however, I have a few red spots where I used to have pimples. Some of these spots are months old. I hardly get pimples anymore, I'd just like to clear up the spots. I don't care if it's an expensive product, I just want something that works. I've tried the Proactiv, Neutrogena, and Clean and Clear products for the reduction of red spots and they don't seem to help. Any recommendations? Thank you!Can anyone recommend a good product to get rid of blemishes?
Beware of using any products for acne unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Often antibiotics are needed to treat acne, so you should see a doctor about it.

People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne. Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face. Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne. If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little. Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne much worse by using too many products. There really is no quick fix for acne. Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne. Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing. Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean. Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that. Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue. Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. A healthy life style will make a difference. Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

In your personal experience, what product best relieved you of blemishes?

This summer, I am going through a phase where I want to improve upon myself as best I can before school starts again in September. One problem that I've had for a few years is my bad acne. It's been improving lately with my use of the Body Shop's natural tea tree oil cleanser, but I was wondering, in your personal experience, what product best relieved you of blemishes? In your personal experience, what product best relieved you of blemishes?
First, I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed Differn for me. It works amazing, my friend uses it too and she had terrible acne before. So every morning, I wash my face with just plain, cold water. Then use, Purpose Dual Treatment Moisturizer. At night, I use Clinique 7 Day Scrub, it leaves my skin feeling so soft! I love it. Right before I go to bed I put Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair on all over my face. It helps with acne, blemishes, and any acne scars or dark spots, but you have to give it some time (about maybe a month). And of course, Differn on any zits. Try to wear makeup as little as possibe, when you're not going out, no makeup. If you are, wash it off as soon as you get home. Also, DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE. EVER! I cannot stress that enough, do NOT touch your face. Except when putting on lotion or whatever, but make sure you wash your hands with soap. And, MAKE SURE, you drink AT LEAST 8 cups of water (4 normal sized water bottles) a day. Maybe even more, just don't drink like 10 bottles a day or anything crazy like that. When I started drinking more water and my skin DID improve.

If there was one thing that improved my skin the most, it would be the water and the Estee Lauder thing (although it is on the pricier side, I think about $50 for an ounce, you could check on their website. It's acually my mom's, but she never uses it so I stole it. Haha.) Also, don't try Proactive, it didn't work for any of my friends and is extremely drying on your skin.

Good luck, I hope I helped. %26lt;3In your personal experience, what product best relieved you of blemishes?
depends on the type of acne you have. I just got done accutane, and no I'm not gonna say YAY GO ACCUTANE to you. Try proactive, many of my friend have had GREAT results on that. If you are like me and have tried every over the counter drugs, and prescription ones, then look into accutane. It cleared me up, its a hard road but worth it.

    Recommended product=proactive
Go to www.acne.org...seriously, it's the ultimate resource for any help you need. It helped me try different things (that I didn't even know about) and my skin looks much, much better. I do get the occasional breakout, but not often. I'm almost sure you will find a regime that suits you on that website. It's great!
Apple Cider Vinegar. After you wash your face and moisturize, take a cotton ball and dab the vinegar to your entire face, away from your eyes. If you can't handle pain, don't try it full strength, dilute it with water first. Do all of this immediately before bed.
Dermalogica is the only thing that works for me.

What is the product to use to get rid of blemishes?

i'm currently using clean and clear persagel 5 for my acne.

can i use another product at the same time to get rid of blemishes? if so, which? should i stick with clean and clear? do i use the blemish cream first or the acne? What is the product to use to get rid of blemishes?
You shouldn't use two products together at the same time unless a dermatologist tells you to or a doctor. You should stick to clean and clear if your skin is improving and it is working. For the creams, I you should use the acne cream first so it gets right in contact with the acne. if you don't like clean and clear then switch to a product that has medication inside the tube like st. ives. What is the product to use to get rid of blemishes?
you want to just find something that won't dry out your skin, just the blemish. benzoyl peroxide is the main ingredient used in spot treatment medications, while salicylic acid is the main ingredient in acne washes, etc. the higher the benzoyl peroxide, the more drying (but possibly more effective) the medication. you may need to see a dermatologist and get a prescription if your acne doesn't start to clear up. sometimes this can actually be more cost effective, rather than spending money on lots of different over the counter washes

What is the best way to get rid of blemishes on legs and face?

I have lots of blemishes from pimples on my face as well as blemishes on my legs from cuts and wounds. Any effective method of medication for each you can recommend? Thank you (:What is the best way to get rid of blemishes on legs and face?
Sleep on a clean pillow case every few days, you can put tea tree oil on it at night, use the mint julep mask twice a week. That really helps. Also make sure you exfoliate twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells. Make sure your cleanser has acne medicine and most importantly drink plenty of water. That will help the most. I used to have problem skin, but now it is smooth and clear. I also put baking soda mixed with water on my face and take a shower. it helps to exfoliate. That is what makes it baby soft. Good luck. What works for one person might not work for others. Using witch hazel as an astringent also helps some people. I know the baking soda will get your skin noticeably smooth right after you do it.

I do the baking soda thing right after work on MWF. I do the Mary Kay micro dermobrasion twice a week and Loreal Adult Acne Peel twice a week. My skin was breaking out like everyday, but now it is looking great and the spots are almost gone!

As for your legs. Exfoliation like twice a week and cocoa butter. It will take a while, but they will fade. What is the best way to get rid of blemishes on legs and face?
drink papaya greentea, or do the detox once aweek

,use tea tree oil product, stop eating beef for short period, drink more water, stop eating 8pm- 3am, simply detox* drink salt water (cooking salt just small amount mixed with warm water when u wake up in morning ) after that eat green apple or 100% pure apple juice befor breakfast, you should do it everymorning. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon mixed with water or ad fruit juice for more easy to drink cause strong smell , u should drink 3-4 times a day. the turmeric (curcuma)--contains a mixture of powerful and high in antioxidant properties, they fight the damaging effects of free radical mole cules in the body, also been shown have anti-bacterial, anti- fungal,anti- inflamatory effect play a part in blocking a key biological pathway that cause damage to cells and may lead to their unhealthy. they also available in capsule too.please don`t give up.

How do you make your face clear of blemishes or with less blemishes in 2 days??

I need to know how to make blemishes less noticable in 2 days. How do you make your face clear of blemishes or with less blemishes in 2 days??
Clean and Clear has a really good overnight cream. I used to use it when my skin broke out and I would have results overnight. How do you make your face clear of blemishes or with less blemishes in 2 days??
Use a cotton ball and apply lemon juice and/or green tea. Also, stay away from any form of caffeine or oil based make-up. Good luck
I put a dab of mud mask on what ever blemish I want to shrink before I go to sleep at night, it usually shrinks it up quickly. I also use eggs white occasionally during the day for the same thing. I've found Aveeno makes cleansing pads that work really well also.
I am not sure what you can do in two days if you have several blemishes. But skin care is on going. Of course first do not tan- but a tan look is nice, use tanning lotion...oil free. And then I use Pro Active. I absolutely recommend it, It Really works! Then if you are on the system and need to get rid of a couple blemishes you have the spot treatment and mask. So start doing that and you won't have this problem again. Hope this helps!!
if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. if you have oily skin use both in the morning and at night. if you have combination or dry skin use only at night and apply the moisturizer in the morning. dont use bad makeup! for oily skin use powder. liquid foundation and oily skin just dont work well together. an awesome powder is physicians formula mineral loose powder. it soaks up unwanted oil and helps sensitive and acne prone skin. but the last thing you want to do is put loose powder on dry skin. dry skin needs to be hydrated throughout the day. use physicians formula mineral liquid makeup. it also helps sensitive and acne prone skin. another thing you can do with any kind of skin type is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.

ok well the face wash you are using is irritating your skin, so stop using it right away! either you can wash with just warm water every morning and night or find a good natural face wash that you can amke at home.

there are plenty all over the internet and your choice for which one to use. lemon juice with honey is always good so search the web for directions on how to make them.

or you can go to your family doctor and she will give you an acne cream that is way better then the store baught creams and this will not irritate your skin as well....

you can also just wait untill they all go away cause it seems like you dont have bad acne. then just wash with water and a softer face wash.

drink lots and lots of water which will help to clean your skin and eat realy healthy and lots of frresh fruit.

Hope this helps. now just search the web for your favourite face wash you can make at home.

    hi limebrig,

hey all of the other suggestions here have been great , but remember you also want to do whats good for your skin to help stop the breakouts to begin with. The causes of acne are not unconnected with diet. Diet plays a big role in acne treatment. Certain foods stimulate the outbreak of acne in certain individual. Some get acne when they consume oily food, other get it when they eat junk food. What is important is that you know what kind of diet tends to increase your acne and avoid it while sticking to the ones that don't. A healthy diet can help your immune system and improve your skin.

I have a link here that will get you to a web site with info that helped me out! I hope this helps.

They all work incredibly well, and an additional thing that you can use is the mask for on-the-spot pimples and blemishes. =]

I have some minor redness and uneven tones, blackheads, and blemishes on my face...what is the best product or remedy that can alleviate this? What works best for unevenness in the skin and blemishes?
As a person experienced with acne/skin issues this is what I recommend based on what I use:

#1 is a good night and morning cleaning regimen: Get St.Ives Apricot Scrub for Ance and use it before bed and 1st thing in the morning. (gently scrub you skin.) Also get Clean %26amp; Clear Sensitive Skin Astringent that contains salicylic acid and, after washing, apply with cotton ball all over face. Get Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment (a silver tube) and apply to any blemish %26amp; black head area, because it will help unclog pores and clear blemishes. Then for both moisturizing and evening your skin tone, I suggest Cover Girl ';CG Smoothers'; which is a tinted moisturizer. It''s like a moisterizer with a touch of foundation color, but is oil free and non-clogging. Also has sun-screen. It comes in fair to light, light to med %26amp; med to dark skin tones, so pick one closest to yours.

This is what I use. These products are available at any Kmart, Walmart, Target or drugstore near you.

Good luckWhat works best for unevenness in the skin and blemishes?
A common home remedy for blemishes is toothpaste. Use the paste variety, not gel and gently apply a small drop directly on top of the blemish. Let dry. This will draw the blemish out and leave you blemish free. If left on too long, the skin may become irritated. I would ask a dermatologist, they would probably have better answers than i would. What the best way to get rid of body blemishes and scars?
Talk to a doctor, but also research vitamins! Ones that are good for skin cell renewal, immune health, etc.

Off the top of my head, C, D (but a certain type) and E are good for scarring.

Here's one chart you can study:

    http://www.healthvitaminsguide.com/vitam鈥?/a>

Cocoa butter is supposed to help scarring, I think you can buy a nice jar of it (not expensive either.)

But from what you've described, your renewal is going to have to be from inside out, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. So research vitamins and use cocoa butter as a all-over body cream, and you should start to see results in time.

    Best wishes!
Ask your doctor. They might have some special creme or something that can help. If you don't want to do that, you could try using Bio oil or something like that. I'm using it now for my acne scars and it doesn't seem to be doing much (i've been using it almost a month), but I'm going to keep using it and see. It's had a lot of good reviews though so you could try it (it isn't just for acne scars).

St. Ives is a lower end product and may not have some of the latest and greatest ingredients for blemishes. Keeping acne free is also due to diet, consistency of cleaning, and where you place your hands. Have you thought of that? Do you rest your face on your hands without think of it?
A Clinique rep once told me that the most popular reason for breaking out in that area is that when you wash your face or remove your make-up that area seems to not get rinsed as well and the leftover soap residue congregates there causing these breakouts... so she suggested that wash your face while in the shower instead of at the sink because since you won't be worried about splashing water all over your counter you are more likely to throughly rinse. Also I use Cliniques 3-step program and it works wonders on my exremely oily skin...
emu oil thats all youll ever need!!!
use witch hazel on cotton balls in the problemed areas. It is natural and it is not expensive. Works wonders on my combination skin! Give it a try!
Use a cleanser that is anit-baterial
If you can afford it, find a good aesthetician (facialist) in your area and invest in a facial or two and some high quality cleansers and lotions. It will be worth it in the long run.
use dr brandt microdermabrasion. it is pricey but worth it! Within 2 weeks I am acne free after YEARS of problems.
Arbonne. Aveda. Aveeno. they all work. i have yoused them all. i am currently using Aveeno and i hve perfect skin now!! try it!
Dog poop is free, smear that on yourself.
    Proactiv.

Please help? How can I remove scars and blemishes from my face? An effective method please?

I have loads of scars and blemishes on my face because of dry skin, childhood chicken pox and teenage spots. Can someone recommend any remedies or methods that I could use to remove these scars or to blend them in and make them less noticeable on my face? Thank you. Please help? How can I remove scars and blemishes from my face? An effective method please?
'Stop popping!' It's tempting, but honestly, it make things worse. If you absolutely must pop, make sure that the area (and your fingers) are clean and disinfected. Best method of dealing with acne scars and cuts is just to let your body do the works. Keep the irritated area clean and use as little make-up on the area as possible.

Use a Scar Treatment. For post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (brown or red marks on the skin) try something like ';Zenmed's Scar Treatment Kit';, Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. Mederma is also a good ';spot'; treatment. For ';ice picks'; or ';crater-like'; scars, which are actual dents in the skin, often the most effective treatment is seeing a doctor.

Moisturize and protect. Always use an oil-free moisturizer that has SPF. Try Body Guard Exquisitely Light SPF 30 For Face %26amp; Body.

Triple Antibiotic ointment If you put this on overnight, it will fade your scars and get rid of them. Don't put too much on in one spot, it can cause your skin to get overly oily

Avoid touching your face. Your hands can transfer additional oil to an infected area.

Scars tend to be more noticeable on pale skin. You can combat this with a safe self-tanner (not to be confused with tanning booths and/or sun-tanning, which are unhealthy for your skin). You could also buy a natural redness - countering concealer.

Neosporin is ideal for speeding up healing time thus causing lesser scarring. There is also Neosporin Scar Solution.

You can use plain yogurt to help fade scars. Apply it to your face twice daily. It will moisturize your face, purify it and your skin will heal much faster.

Apply aloe vera or vitamin E; it will speed up the healing process.

Cocoa butter is a rich moisturizer that is very effective. Try Palmer's Scar Serum. It contains Cocoa butter, Vitamin E, Shark Liver Oil, Silicone, and Allium CEPA and is around $15 available from most chemists.

Use lemon on scars daily, but use moisturizer before going to bed as the lemon may cause dry skin.

Honey Mixed with lemon %26amp; almond oil and milk = acne free

Moisture helps scars heal, so be sure to moisturize (But be careful of heavy moisturizers that can clog pores).

Do TCA peels of 12% three weeks apart. Amazing, effective, and inexpensive.

Aloe-vera often helps. If you rub the gooey inside of an aloe-vera plant on the affected area, you will see results in a matter of days. Do it once or twice a day, and simply leave it on. Aloe-vera also helps to eradicate acne scars.

For mild scars and cuts, using Neoporin works well. Put a little on each morning and night after cleansing your face.

Picking at the scabs and scars will only make things worse.

If your acne ruptures even when you don't touch it, you need to see a dermatologist. Bleeding or excessive acne is not natural, and may be the result of an infection or allergies. Get treatment as soon as possible.

Acne is caused by a bacterial infections - more times than not. So understand that popping zits only spreads the infection.

Excessive sun exposure without using SPF can make scars darker and more permanent.

xoxo_LEiPlease help? How can I remove scars and blemishes from my face? An effective method please?
I hear you, I have tons of scars myself. Many people say using Mederma or rubbing vitamin E oil on the spots help. Also, I've heard some people say that aloe vera helps. I personally haven't tried it. Unfortunately there is no magic cure for them, but the Mederma and/or vitamin E oil over time will help make them less noticeable.

    good luck
    Bio oil is good.

it takes a while to work and can be a bit expensive but it definitly reduces scaring.

i scar so easily, i dont know what i'd do without it !
Vitamin B cream for minor scars,But there is nothing for chicken pox scars except plastic surgery.
Try emu oil , vitamin e oil or bio oil

What's a good moisturizer for DRY skin and good concealer to cover up my blemishes?

I used to have a lot of pimples and now that they are gone they left scars around my face... can you guys help me find a good concealer that can cover up my blemishes for the whole day? and a good moisturizer as well... I really need help! Thanks a lot! What's a good moisturizer for DRY skin and good concealer to cover up my blemishes?
I really like Cetaphil moisturiser. It's made for sensitive skin but any one can use it. It's recommended by dermatologists.

I also like the mabelline mineral concealer but it's usually hard to cover up pimple scars. if there quite noticaable and prominant scars try bio oil. What's a good moisturizer for DRY skin and good concealer to cover up my blemishes?
I would recommend not using soap on your face first of all, instead use Spectro Jel. Then you will follow up with cetaphil, this was recommended by my dermatologist several years ago and my skin looks great. That is not all though you need to drink good quality water and they say at least 9 x 8oz glasses a day and try to spread it out through the day. Go to the following site www.mayoclinic.com/health/water/NU00283 for more information on water consumption. As for blemishes I have no idea, I have never found the need to use anything for that condition, sorry. Good-Luck......
I have always used Dove sensitive skin cleaning products.

Almay Clear Complexion Concealer then Foundation to cover up unsightly blemishes/marks and the corresponding pressed powder. Lasts my entire work day and into the evening without touch up except for the powder. (After work I really don't care by then how I look!!!!)

Is it true honey can get rid of blemishes?

because of the antibacterial properties? have you tried it? what were your results? Is it true honey can get rid of blemishes?
Yes. Honey is a great remedy for acne and pimples because the honey kills bacteria. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/Is it true honey can get rid of blemishes?
yes! I've used it! it works!
Honey does have some properties to soothe your skin but it will not do much to clear anything up.

Other home remedies (that work better for blemishes) are:

toothpaste on zits (it dries them out),

warm milk wash (it makes your skin smoother),

oatmeal scrub (to slough off dead skin)

and tea bags (warm them up and place them on under-eye bags to combat puffiness).
honey does not get rid of blemishes but it is a natural humectant which means it adds moisture to your skin....it can also be used as a good deep conditioner with some olive oil because it softens the hair gives it a nice shine!

  • How to remove blemishes with quick easy step?

Any easy procedures that doesn't require any products? Please and thank you.

PS: Most of them are on my foreheadHow to remove blemishes with quick easy step?
Do you not want to use anything on your face or do you just need to take care of it quickly and you don't have anything? Because there are some things you may have lying around that will do wonders.

The best thing you can do is to exfoliate. You can just use a washcloth or you can use a little bit of sugar while your face is wet and soapy, but be GENTLE. Forehead pimples are usually small and just need exfoliation. When in doubt, always exfoliate.

If you have some oatmeal, you can make a mask out of it and some water. It will exfoliate you as well as open up your pores and clean them out. Leave it on for about 20 minutes. You'll be amazed at your face.

You can also use toothpaste to dry them out, but make sure it's the pasty kind, not the gel kind.

Rubbing alcohol will do more or less the same thing, but it will dry you out more.

To get rid of redness, the aspirin Katherine suggested works wonders. So will ice, visine eyedrops, milk, or a slice of potato or cucumber.

Some people swear by neosporin, since it's antibacterial, but it's also really greasy and always makes me break out.

Whatever you do, make sure you use a moisturizer. A lot of times when you get oily, it's just your skin's reaction to over-drying.How to remove blemishes with quick easy step?
    try an aspirin mask.

i guess aspirin is considered a product lol but i'm sure you have it at your house already :) good luck!

How can i get rid of spots and blemishes overnight?

Hi i woke up with sopme hidious spots and blemishes and can't get rid of them i steamed my face and used tea tree and havnt worn make-up and have used clearasl i need them gone for tommorow What do i do?? xxHow can i get rid of spots and blemishes overnight?
As it takes time for the dirt to get into your skin that there is no way to get rid of them overnight. You can scrub all you want, it's not going to happen. How can i get rid of spots and blemishes overnight?
Blemishes are caused by oily skin....they can be from using body oils too often, vaseline, hair sheen, heredity, or even puberty. The two best ways to get rid of that agitating date destroyer is either crushing up an asprin and apply a very small drop of water and applying it to the blemish ( there is a specific acid in asprin that will dry it out and make it smaller), or apply tooth paste, which doesn't contain the same ingredients but will do the exact same thing.

    GOOD LUCK!

i dont get a lot of acne, but when i do is like they all pile up agaisnt each other and they get really red sometimes and they hurt. i get break outs specially when im stressed out, and when its that time of the month (lol).so im just wondering what could be a good way to get rid of them quickly n pain free. What is the best way to keep my blemishes from breaking out?

What is the best way to clear up blemishes without seeing a doctor?

I can't believe all the crap that other people are suggesting lol. Ok so im not sure how bad your blemishes are if it's out of control I would seriously recommend seeing a doctor because simple over the counter stuff will not work. First pick a face wash such as cetaphil, dove or neutrogena. Wash your face twice a day. Then go to any health food store and find some tea tree oil, after you wash your face apply this only at night. It's as simple as that. Make sure you're moisturizing and drinking tons of water. Also don't overload on products that can sometimes make it worse. Hope this helps and good luck! What is the best way to clear up blemishes without seeing a doctor?

Just use a system. I used Clearisile face wash, then the face pads, then the clearing lotion. It's like a ';inexpensive'; proactive that will last you longer anyway.

    2. Exfoliate using a scrub with jojoba beads, which are oil-free, non-drying polishers. After exfoliating, rinse your face with warm water, then splash with cold water to close pores and prevent greasiness.

Hope this helpsHow to get rid of age spots/dark blemishes from sun damage?
I just checked out the website Marisa recommended and it looks awesome.
Photodamaged skin is unable to deliver nutrient-rich filled blood to the surface of the skin. In order to reverse this impairment, blood vessels need to dilate bringing forth more nutrient-rich blood to the skin's surface.

A compound called Dithiolane-3-Pentanic Acid, or D3PA for short, does just that. D3PA helps dilate capillaries and increases healthy blood flood to the skin minimizing the effects of liver spots. D3PA is a naturally produced in our bodies but diminishes as we age.

There's a product made by South Beach Skincare specially formulated for sun damaged skin that contains D3PA. It's not really a natural remedy but it might help. You can read the product review at this anti aging skin care site. They also have a 30-day free trial offer.

I hear you on the proactive stuff - ive heard alot of bad stuff about it too and it didnt work for my friend either.

I have been using Neutragena Rapid Clear oil controling facial cleanser for about five years now and it works good for me. I used to have really bad acne back when i was about 15 years old and i started using it and it cleared up the acne in about two weeks i could definately see a drastic change and im 19 now and still use it and i have little to no acne.

    http://ngupta.qbeautyzone.com/
Well, I've heard that Proactive is great if you completely stick with the system, and have average-severe. If you have average or less, you probably just need a prescription from your doctor. I've tried the Neutrogena system advanced skin care, and that worked to a certain extent, but then didn't completely clear up.

I'd recommend to TRY Clearasil, Neutrogena, or Clinique.

If none of these have great results, I would just go to your doctor and ask for help. Doctors are very friendly about this, and will assess what prescription you might need.

A great tip is to eat a lot of fruits / veggies / and drink a lot of water. I'm not sure drinking water will ever clear up blemishes by itself, but it certainly helps to flush the toxins out of your body.

    Good luck! :)
i hate to admit... but i haf the same prob.. using products for the blemishes on the outside will not solve the problem. u really should look at y these blemishes. is it PMS or if it's a regular thing it could be your poor digestion or lungs. if u r interested to know more, feel free to drop me a msg.
I've used ProActive also, and it didnt work for me....but Clear.now works! Trust me.....

Clear.now (pronounced clear - dot - now) is a 3-step acne treatment system utilizing patent-pending sodium chlorite combined with salicylic acid to keep pores clean, clear, and cared for.

I've been using it for about a year....after a couple of weeks I started to notice a dramatic difference. It even got rid of the dark marks that came up on my nose from wearing glasses for 6 years!

It's been a long time since I've had any serious breakouts...and when I do, usually around a woman鈥檚 monthly nature calling...lol....I use an Artistry Acne Blemish Spot Treatment, the blemish reduces overnight!
Cleanac from Avene or Tazaroten gel in the evening
When I get break-outs I use the LUSH product: Angels on Bare Skin. It is great facial cleanser with seeds and other good stuff in it that exfoliates the problem skin gently and effectively. I don't think blemish care was the intention on the product, but after 2-3 washes my face really begins to clear up nicely.

Most of my zits end up 95% gone the next day after using the product.
Yea I have tried Proactive and did not like it. It did nothing for me. I like Clearasil the one that guarantees to start clearing up your skin in 3 days. That one is great. Now it won't get rid of everything in 3 days but the long term results were good for me too and I did start to clear up in 3 days. That is the one that works best for me. The box is kinda shiny with pink and blue on it if that helps. Sorry I can't remember the whole name.

Plus I'm on birth control pills, for other things, but they do wonders for the skin (just give it more than one month before you see the results). I used to be on an antibiotic as well, but I went off it when I went on BC. Going to the doctor was the only thing that cleared me up.

What is the best way to fight blemishes?

does proactive work or not? and what cleanser do you use? What is the best way to fight blemishes?
make sure that along with cleaning your face twice a day that you are also exfoliating it as well about 1-2 times a week. I do this by masking my face. I use nuetrogena acne mark fading peel. i think it really does help, my face has been mostly clear since I started to use it. For a cleanser, I use olay clarity foaming wash OR clinque facial soap. I have read good reviews on Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher, so I'm going to do that. I really feel that exfoliation is the key to clearer skin, especially as you notice the difference of how much better your face looks after you use it! and even better with regular use. What is the best way to fight blemishes?

Try skin lighteners. Use them on your blemishes only and they will lighten up. Use them until your blemishes vanished. This will take a few months. Depending on how brown you are. Also if you do buy this, make sure that you do it at night, unless it has a spf in it because if you go outside right afterwards the sun can bleach your skin lighter. How do i get rid of facial blemishes permanently?
    I would highly recommend Acnezine.
Fading creams are good but you have to be consistant to see results.
I'm not sure how old they are, but I have had great experiences with vitamin E (I'm not really sure how they'd work with marks years old though). You have no idea what my face and legs would look like without it! To get pure vitamin E oil, you can open capsules from vitamin pills, but those aren't really potent. Plus, they're a pain because you have to open them and keep them laying around until you use all of it. A better idea would be to buy a more potent, pure vitamin E oil for the skin sold in bottles (make sure it has ONLY vitamin E, not safflower oil or anything else. It should be thicker not watery). The GNC or Amazon amongst other places sell it.
