yes! I've used it! it works!
Honey does have some properties to soothe your skin but it will not do much to clear anything up.
Other home remedies (that work better for blemishes) are:
toothpaste on zits (it dries them out),
warm milk wash (it makes your skin smoother),
oatmeal scrub (to slough off dead skin)
and tea bags (warm them up and place them on under-eye bags to combat puffiness).
honey does not get rid of blemishes but it is a natural humectant which means it adds moisture to your skin....it can also be used as a good deep conditioner with some olive oil because it softens the hair gives it a nice shine!
