My skin is really oily and I've tried everything but my skin becomes irriated and I've got loads of pimples and pimple scars. Its becoming embarassing and when people stare at me I always think they look at the ugly dots on my face. What can I do to have clear smooth, radiant healthy skin? How can I have baby smooth skin and finally have compliments on how good my skin is?What should I do to get rid of my acne and blemishes?
See dermatologist for medications if really bad. If not extreme, proactive is effective. Over the counter is Neutrogena ';Acne free'; or ';oil free.'; Should be used twice daily and it really dries it up and clears the skin. I recommend it highly and its cheaper than proactive. Make sure you aren't touching your face a lot during the day too. It is a transfer of bacteria that causes acne. What should I do to get rid of my acne and blemishes?

Proactive definitely works. I haven't heard one person say that it didn't work for them even if everything else failed.
what worked for me though is tanning. I actually go to a tanning salon, not to have darker skin, but to keep my skin dried out because it's naturally oily. it really helps.
Visit a dermatologist. They don't have all of the answers, but they will be able to point you in the correct direction.
But on your own, here was what I can recommend:
Cetaphil cleaning solution. You should be able to find this almost anywhere. I assure you that it will work better than any prescription you will find, or late-night informercial promise.
Clearsil and every other over-the-counter acne medication WILL help, but it won't perform wonders. You should be daily scrubbing your face and using some kind of acylic acid compund (which is what most anti-acne medications consist of).
And last of all...DO NOT worry about your diet. No sound claims have been made (despite what you may have heard about chocolate and fat) between skin condition and what you eat...
Lastly...you will grow out of it. Acne's largest contributer is homones, which will gradually reduce as time passes.
always wash your face with clean water, like before you sleep. dont eat oily food, peanuts and salty dishes. dont stay up late. get enough sleep. and cut your hair short so it doesnt touch your face, that causes irritation.
Work out, drink A LOT of water, use spf or use this product call Murad. My hubby used it and it even reduced his acne scars it works pretty well. i wouldn't recommend proactive because its made for a certain percent of people it doesn't work with everyone.
You need to use a toner. Toners help remove the oils from your skin. Also you may want to use a damage controlling oil, that will prevent anymore scarring. Bio-Oil is a good one!
Proactive
i would stop using harsh cleansers,or anything with salsic acid.and try a natural cleanser, like kiss my face.i had the same problem after pregnancy and i used natural organic cleansers and it cleared it up.those harsh chemicals burn your face and cause redness.
Proactive it performs miracles and dont wash your face with soap unless it is formulated for facial skin
dish washer
Use proactiv, it might be expensive comparing to other medicines but it comes with 4 different acne treatment products in the kit; a renewing cleanser, revitalizing toner, repairing lotion, and refining mask.
I have been using for 2 weeks already and I have noticed a difference on my skin already.
I knew some friends of mine, who had huge craters, and after a few weeks it was almost all gone. I asked them what they used and they told me about this product. I was skeptical about the product when i first heard of it, but it was definally worth a shot.
Acne spots don't fade away when you wake up tomorrow morning so get yourself prepared for a:
1. Healthy diest (lot's of veggies!) (Don't STARVE youself!)
2. Drink around 8 - 10 glasses of water everyday!
3. Work out regularly (Even if it's just walking for 20 minutes!)
