What make- up should I use to cover up blemishes and pimples?

I am a Puertorican 14 year old, if that helps with your answer, I also have tan colored skin. What make- up should I use to cover up blemishes and pimples?
At your age, assuming the rest of your skin has a good tone, you simply need a concealer. Some great ones that come in nice tan colors with good yellow undertones are from e.l.f (everything is just $1!) and is available on their website. Some other lines to try are meet mark (available on their website) and the L'Oreal HIP line.

To apply, simply dab with a small brush (similar to a lip brush), using a thin coat of concealer. Let dry and then if necessary, add another thin coat. Then apply a light layer of pressed powder. All the companies above also make great ones.

Also important, really concentrate on solving your skin breakouts by possibly seeing a dermatologist who can recommend products and a skin care regime to at least reduce the breakouts. As far a good product lines for teens, try the Biore line, Neutrogena and Phisoderm. What make- up should I use to cover up blemishes and pimples?

you stated that your puertorican so im going to ASSUME that you have oily to combination skin......

always start with a good cleanser in the shower.... no Noxzema or sea breeze!!!! lol, for OTC ( over the counter) try St. Ives.... they're really sufficient and affordable and you can find it anywhere (wall-mart).... just look for the cleanser that is recommended for your skin.

now, you should always use a daycream or light moisturizer. Why? because no make-up in the world will cover blemishes 100%. and with a good cleanser you need to apply a daycream to have a barrier between your pretty skin and your make-up... that way your skin is soaking up good vitamins all day instead of just make up!!!

But if your just interested in the make-up aspect.... make sure it's a mineral based make-up.... it can get a little pricey but some it pretty tolerable! Try Physician's Formula ( CVS, WalMart) there pretty good for OTC. And Sally's Beauty Supply has a wonderful blemish cover stick..... i think its called CoverMySpots.... but its the only one they carry....... hope i helped!

It's called concealer. It comes in different shades, and also has different purposes differing from shade to shade. Green, for instance, covers up red spots. A concealer in your skin color just covers up your normal blemishes. If you don't have much money to spend, you can check out stuff at Wal Mart. If you have some money, but not much, and you're still looking to shop at WalMart, try Physician's Formula stuff. [It's a brand] They make stuff really good for your skin. If you have a little more money to spend, go to your local mall and check out the makeup counter. Most of your make up counters will let you try stuff for free. I hope I helped!
Heyy...your representing the boriquas...lol...but seriously the best thing to do is get a hydrating cleanser and moisturizer to clean your face. Then get an intense acne remover, it is inexpensive, and can be found in the cosmetics aisle in any drug store or pharmacy. Apply to the spot and follow the directions. Your blemish or pimple should be gone in a couple of days. But as for the make-up, don't put a lot of make-up on the spot. You don't want the spot getting irritated, and worse becoming infected. Hope i helped!! %26lt;33
Nuetrogena blemish control makeup.
I like to dust a loose powder over my blemishes with a professional powder brush made out of animal hairs... The brush should be rounded and have no ';cut with a scissor hairs';... Covergirl's brush with blush, is a pretty good example of the wrong brush to use. Buy them from a department store...

Benefit cosmetics, some kind of gorgeous is a concealer that you can apply for a little more coverage... Don't rub it in, pat it in. Do this before loose powdering.

To take care of your acne, buy a cleanser for your skin type (prolly oily)... Do this before sleeping and after waking up.... To replenish your moisture level, use a simple moisturizer with sunscreen (pesky wrinkles) after cleansing. Do a weekly facial with a deep scrub and/or a clay mask depending on oilyness... Want to save on beauty supplies? Use baking soda instead of a store-bought deep scrub.
Concealer with a yellow tint-it helps to fight the redness. Cover with your regular foundation.
