What program to use to remove blemishes from photos?

I have photoshop but it really isn't that easy to remove blemishes from photos. I tried picnik online and it is great, but really SLOW because my download speed isn't fast enough.

So is there a downloadable program which will do the same thing easily and fast? Note - I have many many old photos of my grandfathers which need to be repaired so easy and fast are really important criteria here. What program to use to remove blemishes from photos?
Photoshop can be hard (regardless of earlier comments from some Photoshop pros!). Picnik is great - but I understand the speed issue. GIMP is the best free download. Similar to Picnik in terms of ease of use, but you will only have the speed issue on the one time downloadWhat program to use to remove blemishes from photos?
Nothing could be easier than removing blemishes in Photoshop. What possible problem could you be having?

You either use the clone stamp tool and / or the healing brush. One or two clicks and the blemish is GONE.

Don't waste your time trying to upload and do this kind of thing on some online editing site. You have the PERFECT program to do it with in Photoshop. Spend your time learning to use it properly.
