What makeup is good for covering blemishes, making skin flawless looking?

Unfortunatley, I was not blessed with perfect skin, and am actually (probably like most people) embarrassed by it. Nothing I have tried has worked. What type of makeup (brands) would u recommend that helps (and actually works) to give a more flawless appearance? Ive tried some makeup, but none that was any good. (I have oily skin) as well. . Any tips on nething would be appreciated. (again-this is embarrassing 4 me)What makeup is good for covering blemishes, making skin flawless looking?
you've asked the right person hunny! i do this for a living and i LOVE it! i do make overs every chance i get. i do them for free so it's not much of a living! haha! oh well.

i sell both mary kay and avon and i love products from both lines. my very favorite is the new mineral foundation. it goes on as a powder and sits on top of your skin rather than soaking in and causing zits. i have a friend who has acne and she loves this stuff, too. i have dark circles and it works miracles for me, i'm not kidding. can i recommend something? i can really help you with a skin care routine if you'd like. the thing is you want to cover up you pimples, which is fine, i do too when i get them, but what you really need to do is get rid of them all together. my sister in law used to have bad acne on her chin and cheeks and i helped her set up a skin care routine. i told her you have to follow this to a t every single night. she did and after not even two weeks her skin cleared up. don't sweat it! don't be embarrassed. i know it's hard, but i'll help you with whatever i can. i can even send you some samples if you'd like. i promise you i'll help you get that beautiful skin we all crave! i've never been so happy with my skin as i have been these last three or four months! i'll give you all the tips you want, so go ahead an email me or IM me when you get a chance and we'll go from there, okay? in the mean time, be sure to wash your face every night no matter how tired you are, you HAVE to use the right products, if you don't you're just making it worse and it'll never clear up. oh and don't pack on the make up. foundation is NOT suppose to be bad for your skin, but you shouldn't pile it on either. i'd tell you don't pick, but.... i always did. and one more thing, you DO have to use a moisturizer, even if you have oily skin, please do not miss that because your skin will over produce oil if you strip it.sarahblanco06@yahoo.com

i get avon make up every month. The mineral foundation is great !! darker shades can be quite orange but a lighter one covers up flaws perfectly. but i want natural clear skin... answer my question please people !! im new xxx Report Abuse

I don't do it for a living yet but have extensive education with this jazz and I've had acne or ';problem skin'; for 10 years now. Sometimes there's not a lot you can do to completely get rid of it, it's just prevention. Almay has a line of foundations n concealer that have salicylic acid that work. Report Abuse

You should use the maybelline liquid concealer... This doesn't clog your pores and lets your skin breathe... so since you have oily skin, this is perfect. It lets your skin breathe so you won't get any pimples... And try using Garnier A for blemishes... It'll get rid of them... So for now just try the liquid concealer to cover it up... But try some creams to actually get rid of the blemishes.
I deal with the same problem. I love Bare Minerals. I buy it through Sephora.
I don't know what it is called, but you can by a foundation, and it sort of looks like a chap stick, and it just rolls on. It works great and I love it. It is so easy. Also I would try looking at Sephora for foundation/cover-up.
Neutrogena, also it contains no oil.
